Armed with nothing but my dad's SLR, I ventured to take a black and white photography class in high school. I took that camera with me everywhere, in search of opportunities. I even entered one of my photos in the Del Mar Fair, only to win second place in my division. Since then, life has taken over and opportunities for photographic expression seem few and far between, but my current situation has pointed me back in that direction. I certainly don't claim to be a professional, or even good, but there's something in me that sees photographs everywhere, so I thought I'd share. Since a picture is worth a thousand words, I won't need to write much after today's introduction. I hope you enjoy my amateur foray into the world of photography.
